One of my favorite bands from the UK, The Night (turnyourlightonme.tumblr.com) just released a live and acoustic video to their song “Strangers.” Check out the video, and there is a link to a free download. I also just found out they will be doing a Daytrotter session in America in the near future.

Rita Ora - cannot get enough.
Check her out and talk soon.
Take advantage of this. Now.
She’s already a known quantity in the U.K., but we’d be willing to bet you’ll be hearing the name Emeli Sandé very frequently stateside in the not-too-distant future. Her debut album came out on Tuesday in the U.S. and you can get it for $5 through Monday.
Alright ya’ll, you need to check out Rebecca Ferguson. She was on the X-Factor in the UK a little while back. She has this phenomenal, soulful and smoky voice thats like a mix of Aretha and Macy Gray.
She released her debut album in the US today, and it’s truly wonderful. She wrote/co-wrote every song on the album, and it’s quite refreshing to see this artistic control coming out of the singing show world.
Check out an acoustic take on one of the most beautiful songs on the album, “Shoulder to Shoulder.”

Alright - I know I keep posting videos of them, but they are just so good. More from The Night. New song, and a home video to go along with it. Check out “The Islander.”
